Robert Saunt is an innovative student from Loughborough Grammar School in the East Midlands; he is a team-orientated STEM enthusiast who enjoys entering a plethora of competitions, with some of notoriety which are fully explained herein. Robert has been an active member of the British Science Association for a few years. He has also held international, national, regional and school level titles and roles since his first Technology project in 2013, including the British Science Association, Royal Society of Chemistry and a member of the Royal Institute of Naval Architects. Robert has been successful in several competitions throughout the past 3 years from being a Finalist in the 2015 International Google Science Fair to being Young Geographer of The Year 2014, and also in 2015, the British Science Association presented him with the Young Engineer for Britain Award. Robert is known notably for his passion when working with students, acting on his passion, Robert has helped for numerous years in the partnership program run by Loughborough Endowed Schools which involves the extra-curricular teaching of over 300 children on various Saturday mornings throughout the year. As an active Technology enthusiast, Robert has been featured in The International Business Times, The Huffington Post and The Telegraph, to name a few. He was appointed as a CREST Youth Adviser by the British Science Association in 2014 where he attend Bi-annual meetings in order to discuss Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM). In his spare time, he is involved with numerous charitable activities and considers his greatest achievement to be his work with the British Science Association in improving the offering of STEM education throughout schools within the United Kingdom.
