Magnetic bacteria may help build future bio-computers

Microbes that ingest iron and make small magnets inside their bodies are being studied by a team of scientists from the University of Leeds and Japan\’s Tokyo University of Agriculture and Technology for their possible uses in creating bio-computers. The magnets are similar to the ones used in PC hard drives, and so could be used to create faster bio-computers.
