Medical Breakthrough – Back pain university research helped by old bones

Research undertaken by Leeds university suggests that using the bones of people that have died up to 100 years ago can be used to relieve Chronic back pain.

 

Computer models are being used to evaluate the potential impacts of the treatment and how it can be used in various surgery such as Keyhole spinal surgury, before they can be used by patients. The research has potential to significantly improve the quality of lives of people around the world.
