Hi everyone,
This is Joanne, a professor of Bioengineering and also of Cell and Developmental Biology at the University of Illinois, Urbana. I love science, always have! That\’s why I have a website called \”Joanne Loves Science\”. I thought I would introduce myself to you by a video talking about the science that has transpired in the first part of October 2009. In the background, you will see my \”Top Model\” doll, a gift from my daughter as I used to be a professional model in my teens. This has very little to do with science, except that it helped me fund my college education. I also enjoyed the creativity of the profession.
